United Cerebral Palsy of New York City, Inc. (UCP/NYC) is the leading nonprofit agency in New York City, providing direct services, technology and advocacy to children and adults of all ages with cerebral palsy and related disabilities. UCP/NYC was founded 50 years ago in 1946 by a concerned group of New York City parents with children who had cerebral palsy. This was at a time when institutionalization was one of the only service options available to families.
